If shrimp are frozen, thaw in a bowl of cool water and rinse before cooking.
1/2 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp chipotle powder (I use Mrs Dash)
1/2 tsp seasoning salt
1 squeeze of lemon juice
salt and pepper, to taste
1. Heat olive oil over medium/high heat in a saucepan.
2. Add garlic and stir until browned, about 30 seconds.
3. Add shrimp when pan is hot, and allow to cook until done (about 2 minutes per side). (You can reduce the heat to medium once they're in the pan.)
4. While the shrimp are cooking, add the rest of the spices.
I like to add these shrimp to salads, tacos, and on top of steak. Enjoy!
