Quick and Easy Salmon

  • 1 salmon fillet (I use wild sockeye, because it's my favourite!)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • juice from 1/4 lemon
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 400F
  2. Rinse the salmon fillet and place on an aluminum foil lined baking sheet
  3. Drizzle olive oil on top
  4. Crush garlic on top
  5. Add all other ingredients
  6. Bake in oven for about 12 - 15 minutes. A good rule of thumb is to cook salmon for about 10 minutes per inch of thickness. I always check after 12 minutes. You want the fish to be flaky and opaque, but not dry. When it's cooked right, there's nothing better!
